Tripping

Ok - I have new surge protectors - I got them online from firesheild and apparently after I caleld the company - I was told that they are super sensitive. Here is the think - ever since maybe 3 months ago - all of a sudden they are tripping in the mornings when the garage door opens - I don't know what to make of it - at first I thought they were broken but they say that they aren't - this shoudln't be happening should it?
